Based on the combination of the largest 77 Designated Market Areas measured by Nielsen’s Scarborough Research (Release 2, 2017), here are how adults are planning to spend vacations in the next year.

Which market’s rank the highest or lowest in types of vacations intended to take?  See for yourself.  Here are the top and bottom markets for planned vacations for family, beach or lake, mountain, theme park, cruise and none:

#77     New York (NY) at 29.7%

Fun note:  Las Vegas adults were least likely to be planning a gambling or casino vacation in the next year.
